Sue Gordon
Sue comes to the Montgomery County Chorus as a music supporter rather than performer. While she sang in a church choir as a teen, and then in the college choir at Wake Forest University, Sue’s vocal talents are limited! Nonetheless, the music gene is in her family- her mom was a classically trained pianist, and her son is the Contrabassoonist with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. So, she is delighted to extend her music appreciation to help launch the Montgomery County Women’s Chorus. Raised in Northern New Jersey, Susan had a distinguished career that began in IT at IBM and evolved into career counseling and managing college career centers. Most recently, she has launched a career in real estate. In her roles as counselor and realtor, she has helped people identify their hopes and dreams and outline a path toward achieving them. In addition to selling houses, Sue is an active member of the Rotary Club of Rockville, a member of Darnestown Presbyterian Church and most importantly Aubrey’s NaiNai (Mandarin for Paternal Grandmother!). She enjoys chasing her grandbaby around the house and reading books with her. When she’s not immersed in real estate and doting on her granddaughter, Sue enjoys cooking, listening to audiobooks and hiking the Rock Creek trails with her energetic puppies!

Deviba played the clarinet for seven years and was a proud member of her high school marching band, wind ensemble, and winter drumline.
